What does BatchBite calculate?
BatchBite uses the whole-batch calories and macros you reviewed, the measured final cooked weight, and the grams in a named plated portion.
The result is only as reliable as the totals and weights entered. BatchBite does not verify source values or invent missing totals.
Where is my data?
Recipes, portion names, batches, and meal logs are stored locally on your iPhone. BatchBite has no account, cloud-storage service, or collaborative household service. An intentional household share contains only reviewed totals, cooked weight, batch name/date, named plate weights, and leftovers—not ingredient notes, corrections, logs, targets, or broader history.
How does my partner skip duplicate recipe entry?
Open the completed batch and choose Share with household. Your partner opens the link with BatchBite and the validated measured batch appears in their Batches tab. Opening the same link twice does not create a duplicate.
Why are leftovers explicit?
BatchBite conserves cooked weight. Anything not assigned to a named portion remains visible as leftover grams. It may be food still in the container, scale variance, or a portion you have not entered; it never becomes an assumed serving.
Can I correct a batch?
Yes. A correction requires a reason, validates the replacement, and preserves the complete prior state in correction history. Existing consumed-log snapshots remain unchanged unless you separately correct that log.
Subscription help
Restore a purchase
- Confirm the iPhone is signed in to the Apple ID that purchased BatchBite.
- Open the paywall or choose Settings → Restore Purchases.
- Wait for the App Store confirmation.
If nothing is restored, check iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Family Sharing applies only if the App Store product expressly supports it.
Manage, cancel, or request a refund
Choose BatchBite → Settings → Manage Subscription or visit Apple’s Manage Subscriptions page. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. Apple handles App Store refunds at reportaproblem.apple.com; Cankola Builds cannot issue an App Store refund directly.
Plans are still loading
- Confirm the device has an internet connection and App Store services are available.
- Wait a moment and tap Retry.
- Quit and reopen BatchBite.
- If the issue continues, email support with the app version, build, iPhone model, iOS version, storefront country, and exact message.
Calculation troubleshooting
If a value looks wrong, check the reviewed calories and macros for the entire recipe, the final cooked weight without the container, each named portion weight without the plate, and the explicit leftover weight. Use grams consistently. If allocated grams exceed cooked weight, correct a portion or reweigh the remaining food.
Local data
Delete individual batches from Batches and individual meal logs from Today. BatchBite 1.0 has no bulk-delete command. Removing the app removes its local container, subject to Apple-managed backups. Deleting content or the app does not cancel BatchBite Pro.
Choose Settings → Run onboarding again to change setup answers without deleting saved batches or logs.
